Micaela Freire

Cursa el último año de Diseño de Imagen y Sonido (FADU - UBA). Trabaja en producción y desarrollo de contenidos audiovisuales.
Co-dirigió el cortometraje “R.I.P.P”. (Requiescat in paternal Pappo), participante del Festival Tandil Cortos 2009, Festival de Latinoamericano de Video de Rosario 2009, y el Festival de Mujeres Realizadoras que
tuvo lugar en el MALBA en 2009; y realizó la edición del cortometraje “Amorfo” (2009).
En el área de producción, trabajó realizando asistencia en producción ejecutiva en el largometraje de Tamae Garateguy, “Pompeya”, ganadora del premio a mejor largometraje argentino en la Competencia
Oficial Argentina del 25º Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata (2010), y del Free Spirit Award en el 27º Warsaw Film Festival (2011).
Hizo jefatura de producción en el cortometraje de Eduardo Elli “Mauro y
Olivia”, ganador del premio de Cortos Digitales 2009 del INCAA; así como jefatura
de producción en el segundo largometraje de Tamae Garateguy, “Mujer Lobo”, que recibió una mención especial en la sección Work in Progress en el 26º Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata
(2011). Expuso obras en Club Cultural Matienzo y realizó visuales en el marco del festival Hit de Road (2010).

Currently is in the last year at the UBA University (Buenos Aires), getting her degree in Image and Sound Design. She works developing audiovisual contents.
She co - directed the short film entitled “R.I.P.P. (Requiescat in paternal Pappo)”, which screened and competed in the Tandil Short Film Festival 2009, Rosario Latinamerican Video Festival 2009, and Women directors Festival in MALBA (Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires) in 2009.
She also works in the production area: she worked as production assistant in the feature film
POMPEYA, by Tamae Garateguy (Winner in the Mar del Plata International Film Festival 2010, and the
Free Spirit Award in the 27° Warsaw Film Festival, screened at many festivals, including Toronto International Film Festival); she was chief of production in the short film “Mauro and Olivia”,
winner of the digital shorts awards given by the INCAA (National Film and Audiovisual Arts Institute)
in 2009, and also worked as chief of production in Tamae Garateguy's second feature film, “Shewolf”,
which received a special mention in the WIP section of the 26° Mar del Plata International Film Festival
(2011).


Laura Preger

Cursa el último año de Diseño de Imagen y Sonido (FADU - UBA). Trabaja en posproducción y en la realización de contenidos audiovisuales.
Trabajó como asistente de montaje en los films "La guerra contra las mujeres" (Hernán
Zin, 2011), "Dulce de leche" (Mariano Galperin, 2011) y “El notificador" (Blas Eloy
Martínez, 2010).
Realiza obras de video, fotografía y arte sonoro, integra el proyecto de arte multimedia Jardín Magnético, y actúa como VJ en fiestas y recitales.
Co-dirigió el cortometraje “Cuatro posibilidades de la abstracción” (BAFICI 2006) y realizó el diseño sonoro del cortometraje “Estación Barrow” (Gran Premio del Jurado, Festival de Cine de Cipolletti, 2007).
Realizó piezas de video para las obras de teatro “Anestesia”, de Paula Baró y "Jardín de invierno", de Mariano Clemente.
Expuso obras en Club Cultural Matienzo y en ArteBA.
Integra el Club Cultural Matienzo, donde coordina el área Audiovisual y forma parte de Matienschön, el espacio de artes visuales. Allí, produce con Maia Minovich el festival anual "Hit de road" y desde el año 2011 dicta junto a Agustín Jais el taller Lo fotográfico.

Currently is in the last year at the UBA University (Buenos Aires), getting her degree in Image and sound Design. She mainly works in editing and postproduction.
She worked as assistant editor on the films ¨La guerra contra las mujeres¨( “The war against
women”, Hernán Zin, 2011), El notificador (“The notifier”, Blas Eloy Martínez, 2010) and Dulce de leche (Mariano Galperin, 2010).
She is part of the multimedia art proyect called Magnetic Garden and makes video and sound art, photography, and performs as VJ.
She co- directed the short film “Cuatro posibilidades de la abstracción” (“four ways of abstraction” BAFICI 2006) and designed the sound for the short film “Estación Barrow” (“Barrow Station”), Jury Grand Prize, Cipolletti film festival, 2007).
She made video pieces for different plays, including “Anesthesia” by Paula Baró, and “Winter Garden”
by Mariano Clemente. She produces the music and visuals festival “Hit de Road” every year, and was part of art exhibits in Club Cultural Matienzo and ArteBA (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
She is currently a member of Matienschön, the art deparment of Club Cultural Matienzo.
